Options for Parking when Owners/Renters have More Than One Vehicle
Posted on Mar 6th, 2025

This becomes a problem when other owners or guests arrive and cannot find an open space to park.  That should never happen if everyone is abiding by the rules and honoring their one-space allotment.

The issue arises when:
• Owners utilize more than one garage space when staying
• Renters utilize more than one garage space when staying
• Owners use a space in the garage when they also have a guest or renter using a garage space

Ways to help:
• Honor the parking policy and respect your fellow owners
• Be clear in messaging to your renters that only one space is provided and is by permit only

Parking continues to be a challenge for the resort and canyon visitors in general.  Both Powderhorn and Brighton have new parking policies in place and can be found via the following links:
• https://www.brightonresort.com/getting-here
• https://www.brighton.utah.gov/community/page/parking-reservations-winter-travel

Options for parking when owners/renters have more than one vehicle at Solitude:
• Daily lot or roadside parking (reservation required)
• Paid overnight parking at the Village lot only (reservation required, space providing)
• Solitude Resort Lodging (SRL) reserved-parking in the Village lot.  For owner’s that have their condo under SRLmanagement, or for renters through SRL that have two vehicles to park, SRL will provide a single surface-lot parking space when the unit is rented.

Please be courteous and abide by the parking rules so everyone has a place to park when they come up to visit or stay.
Thank you,
The Powderhorn Board
