Our building was completed in 2000 and there are still quite a few original owners.  Those early years were very busy when occupancy was permitted but much work both structurally and operationally needed attention.  Many current and past owners put in an incredible number of hours to get things “right”.  Their foresight and persistence laid the groundwork for the building you see and enjoy today. It should be noted that Powderhorn Lodge is not a condotel/ hotel-condo. 

Most of us who bought here did so to enjoy the beautiful mountains. Be it hiking and biking in the summer or skiing/boarding in the winter, Solitude offers an incredible vacation experience.  That experience is shared with many different groups of visitors.  From locals to out-of-towners; renters to full time residents; young to old; partiers to early birds, we all want to enjoy our stay.  To that end, we want all owners, renters and guests to be informed and knowledgeable regarding the way Powderhorn operates.

The Board of Directors is responsible for managing the finances and operations of the Owners’ Association.  Over the years the Board has developed documents that define basic rules, regulations, procedures and policies that protect our building and the overall enjoyment of your stay.  It’s a fine line and with 83 units there are many opinions of where that line should be!

Please take some time to review the website's folders.  Some are public and some are password protected.  The intention is to give you the information you need.  Requests for additional information and/or questions may be directed to our property manager or the board members via the website.

Powderhorn Lodge is an on-going work-in-progress and the goal is to exceed your vacation expectations within reason.  Please visit our website often as it is the main portal of communications.
